The Bude Concert Orchestra has been performing in Bude for over fifty years, first as a youth orchestra then as an adult orchestra in the 1980’s. The orchestra rehearse at Week St.Mary Chapel on a Monday evening and welcome all ages. The youngest concert player to date was 13 year old Cerys Osborne who played French Horn and the oldest? No one has admitted to being this!
The orchestra performs three concerts a year in Bude and is always pleased to see loyal audience members return to many of their concerts and are equally delighted to see new faces and visitors to the area, although there is always room for more! Given the space at The Parkhouse Centre the orchestra is pleased to welcome guest musicians. There are currently vacancies for violins, violas and bassoons
